I give more than I take. It’s important to me that I always give more value than I take from others. I want people to feel that they are getting huge value out of their interactions with me.
Life doesn’t suck…
because I give more than I take
I feel that it’s important that when I deal with a client they leave feeling like they got more than they paid for. They don’t need to have underpaid, I just want them to take away as much value as possible.
When I have a meeting with a client I want to give them as much good-quality information as I can give them. It’s all a part of my plan for my clients to be my marketing. When they are happy with their interactions with me they are highly likely to tell their friends.
I get a lot of referral work. People tell their friends about my work quite often. I meet a lot of people who have heard of me or the work that I have done. At first, I didn’t understand this and it came as a surprise. After a while, it became a bit more normal. There were so many people telling their friends that I did good work that it had turned into a reputation.
Knowing how easily this reputation has spread has made me place even more emphasis on making sure that I am giving more than I take. Just as it was easy for the good reputation to spread, a bad one can also spread given the chance. It’s not something I want to give a chance. It’s important to me that people feel that they have received maximum value from me.
I’m grateful that I have built my reputation on giving more than I take. Today I’m grateful for the wonderful feeling that comes from giving and providing this value.
