It’s exciting when I get paid. Due to the nature of my work I get paid in big chunks. Because of this it’s always exciting seeing the money in my bank account.
Life doesn’t suck…
because I get paid
I’m lucky to be able to do what I want for money and that I get paid well to do what I do. It’s always exciting at the end of a big job when it’s finally finished and I get to invoice.
Once I’ve invoiced I eagerly watch my bank account, waiting for the money to come in. When it finally shows up it’s an exciting feeling seeing the money there.
I always end up in this situation where it either makes me hungry for more money and makes me work harder or I end up distractedly trying to work out what to spend it on. It’s amazing being in control of how much money I bring in. The harder I work, the more money there is.
It’s nice knowing that my earning potential is only limited by how hard I want to work. If I want more money I just work more hours. If I want more hours to myself I can trade that off by earning less money.
As I get better at running my business I become more efficient. I spend more of my time at work earning and less time learning how to do my job and how to run my business.
Getting paid is a great feeling. I’m eternally grateful to be in a position to control my earnings and I’m hugely grateful every time I get paid. I’m very lucky to be in this position.
