Early nights seem to fix everything. Feeling grumpy? An early night will help. Lacking concentration? An early night will help. Going bankrupt? An early night… may not help.
Life doesn’t suck…
because of early nights
Netflix is highly addictive. It’s very easy to sit down at night and watch three hours of TV. I feel like it’s probably the cause of a good amount of my problems. I’m allowed to blame a streaming TV service for my problems right?
There are countless nights when we’re just turning the TV off around midnight. We’ve got into a really bad habit of watching till we can’t keep our eyes open. Now we’re trying to turn over a new leaf. The goal is to get a good night’s sleep each night. They tell me this will make everything better. Ok, they may not have said everything, but a guy can dream, right?
It’s great how you feel after a solid night’s sleep. waking up feeling like you’ve actually had an effective sleep is amazing. I’m assuming getting better sleep will mean that I will find cutting down on caffeine easier too. I really should look after myself better so I can work and live to my potential.
Early nights mean earlier mornings. If I go to bed earlier I can get up earlier. When I get up earlier I can start work earlier. Starting work earlier means that I can finish work earlier. Finishing work earlier means more time with my family, and more time with my family results in a happier family. It’s kind of a win/win situation.
I’m grateful that I am moving to earlier nights and I look forward to the improvements to my lifestyle that come with this change.
