New opportunities are always exciting. I love finding new things out and learning about things I haven’t spent time learning about before.
Life doesn’t suck…
because of new opportunities
Today I bought an eCommerce course. I’ve always worked with eCommerce, but never sold anything myself. Seeing people making money from eCommerce made me think it would be a good place to use my existing skills and learn some more.
I sell time for a living. There is only a certain amount of time you can sell. When selling a physical product you don’t have the same limits to how much you can sell.
I’ve also never bought an online course. This is because I’ve always been a bit sceptical of all the courses popping up everywhere. You don’t have to turn too far to find someone selling a course on something. YouTube pre-roll ads, Facebook ads, Instagram ads. There are ads everywhere trying to get you to buy their course.
I’d been researching something else and stumbled across a review of this course. It was quite cheap and very well-reviewed. Most sites reviewing it placed it as number one or number two on their lists. I decided that next time I had some spare money it would be a valuable asset for me and my business.
A couple of weeks ago I received a pay-out from a referral I had made. It kinda felt like I hadn’t done anything to earn this money so it was easy to spend it on something that didn’t pay for my day to day life.
I figure that if the course goes well it may pay for itself soon enough anyway. I’m grateful for the new opportunities in life and gettng to try new things. Hopefully it goes well. If it does it may make it’s way into a future gratitude post.
