Gratitude, Day 85: I am grateful that I am a great teacher

I am a great teacher. I’m very good at passing on my knowledge to others and get great enjoyment from it. It’s something that I have found to be more and more enjoyable over time.

Life doesn’t suck…
because I am a great teacher

Today I sat down with someone that I work with. We spent two hours looking over a work I had done previously and changing it to work for a new purpose. Together we worked through the whole process. I explained at each stop what I was doing it and why.

I could feel that my co-worker was following along and had a grasp of what I was doing. They understood why I was doing things and what they were for.

It felt good to pass on my knowledge. To show someone else something that I had had to learn on my own. They will in future be able to use these skills I have taught them. They could potentially pass these skills onto someone else.

It feels good to know that the sharing of my knowledge is useful. That someone can take information from me that will help them. I can make their learning process easier by passing on what I have learnt by trial and error and help ease the learning curve for them.

I’m grateful that I’m a great teacher. I’m glad that I have the patience and the skill required to teach. I’ve been told by a few people that I teach really well. It’s something that I get a lot of pleasure from. Because of this, I’m looking at different ways that I can spread knowledge and educate others. This was one of the purposes of starting this blog. To learn the processes involved in blogging and get into a habit. I’m looking forward to future teaching and helping others.
