Productive days are amazing. I’ve had a bunch of days this week that weren’t that productive. Sometimes it’s just hard to get in the groove. But, today was a productive day, and it felt good.
Life doesn’t suck…
because of productive days
They say that diamonds are made under pressure. When I’m under pressure I either lose all productivity or I get shit done. There doesn’t seem to be a middle ground. This means I either struggle with overwhelm paralysis where I have so much to do that I can’t pick one job to settle on, or things just work.
Today they just worked. I worked on about four different jobs throughout the day. Things just kept falling into place one after the other. This felt good. It felt very good. I feel that if I keep this momentum up this year is going to be good.
I just need to remember how good this feels and keep chasing that feeling. More productive days are in my future. I’m going to make sure of that. I want to keep my productivity up so I can keep my business growing. This improved productivity will mean I don’t have to work for as long. Increased productivity in the hours that I work will mean I don’t need to be at work as long. I’ll still get the work I need to do done, it will just take less time.
I’m grateful for productive days. Grateful that having the taste for these productive days means I’ll seek more out. I’m looking forward to the fruits of these productive days.
