Tonight we received great customer service at our favourite new gelato shop. The owner of the shop is a great example of customer service. He’s someone that other business owners should strive to be like.
Life doesn’t suck…
because I like receiving great customer service.
I’m a firm believer that when doing business these days your most important skill is customer service. If I can get your product online quickly and easily you better have excellent customer service. I can now get almost anything overnight and cheaply using eCommerce. Bricks and mortar stores need to be offering me convenience and an amazing customer service experience.
If I walk into a store it’s so I can get information from someone who knows their product and is going to make sure I get exactly what I need.
Tonight we went to the new local gelato store for the second time because we wanted to show it to our family. We’d received such great customer service last time from the owner of the store that we highly recommended it. The owner was happy to talk about his journey with his business and told us about getting his product and developing his flavours. We spent a good half hour in a store that sells a product that you can eat within five minutes.
The place is beautifully designed, the service is great, the gelato and food is amazing. Because of this we have told everyone we think would be interested about it.
We had been out to dinner and were wanting desert. We stopped in tonight and the service was just as good as last time. I chatted to the owner about where he had bought the parts for the furniture he had made. He made recommendations for where I could get these same items.
I’m grateful that there are shops that exist that are run by friendly people that provide great service with a smile. Because of this I will continue to tell people to go to these places and I will continue to support them.
