It’s the last Friday before Christmas and because of my pride in my work I have stayed at work till 9pm tonight. It made me feel good knowing that I’d done a quality job. This means that the client will be getting my best work.
Life doesn’t suck…
because I have pride in my work.
I could have very easily left work at 5pm and given some excuse or other. I’ve been worn out this week and looking forward for a break. But, there was no way I was going home knowing that the job wasn’t in the best condition I could get it to.
It’s amazing how good it makes me feel putting out a good quality product and that I’ve created something my client will be happy with. I spent extra time going above and beyond, fixing small details to make sure I was proud of my work.
I drove home tonight with a smile on my face because I knew that I had done well. It was a great feeling of success. I’m proud to know that when the client sees the job they will be happy with what they’ve got.
I get a lot of work from referrals from happy clients. This means that each new job I do increases my chances the client will also refer people to me. Client referrals save me money in marketing as it means I don’t need to advertise as much.
I’m grateful that I have the pride in my work to put out a great product, and that it makes my clients happy. This is highly satisfying and has made the end of my week amazing.
