Gratitude, Day 11: I am grateful for happy clients

There is nothing more satisfying than happy clients. I’ve been working on a job for a client for the last couple of weeks which is more consulting based than production. Today we reached the end of the job and my client was very happy.

Life doesn’t suck…
because I have happy clients.

This whole blog started because of a negative interaction with a client. My year has been punctuated by negative client interactions, but I’ve never had as many unhappy clients as happy ones. The takeaway from that is that I need to focus on the positive interactions and learn from the negative ones.

It makes me feel really good when my clients are happy with what I’ve done for them. It takes it up a level from being a job to being a passion when my work is appreciated so much. I put a lot of effort into my work and calling me a people pleaser would be quite accurate. My goal with every client is to give them the solution that is the best value for money for them and tailored to their use case.

The other advantage of happy clients is that they do all my marketing for me. I have never needed to do any marketing because my clients are so busy telling people what a good job I have done for them. I have one client in particular, that has referred more new clients than the rest of my clients combined. At least one new client per month contacts me after being told about the work I have done for other people.

I’m grateful for my ability to create these happy clients, and I’m grateful that these clients have found me.
