This week I have been to four Christmas parties in five days. It’s been a very busy week, but I’m grateful for everyone’s generosity.
Life doesn’t suck…
because of everyone’s generosity.
Christmas is always busy, but this year it’s been extra busy. We’ve just arrived home after driving for five hours for the last Christmas party of the week. One of my biggest clients invited us to her showroom for their work Christmas party a couple of weeks ago. After getting this invitation we knew we had to make the trip down.
It’s a two and a half-hour drive each way, but this client really looks after me and gives me a lot of work so being there for her party was as much about chilling out with the team as it was being there to be thankful for the opportunities she’s given me over the last year.
It was nice to hang out with the team and just chill out. Normally when I make the trip down to the showroom it’s for work and we try to get as much done as possible in a short period of time. Tonight was spent just hanging out, talking about our dogs and enjoying good food and good company.
I’m super grateful to have been invited to all of the Christmas parties we’ve been to this year. It makes me know that we’re surrounded by a pretty special bunch of people and they are all so generous providing food and drink. It’s nice to know that they care enough to go to that effort to make sure everyone has a great time. Our people are the best people.
