Everything comes right in the end. Whenever something has felt terrible or hard it always sorts itself out. Yesterday’s computer catastrophy lasted all of 24 hours before it came right.
Life doesn’t suck…
because everything comes right in the end.
This morning I left for work feeling depressed about the prospect of having to replace my laptop. I knew I had the Windows computer but it just made life so much harder working without all the features Mac OS has that are geared toward what I do for work. This meant that the best way forward was a replacement MacBook so I’d been looking at options.
I got to work and thought I’d make one last effort to fix it. I’d tried the same procedure at home but it had said it was going to take nine and a half hours to complete. Things started to look up when I tried at work and it said thirty minutes to complete. In just over 24 hours I’d managed to sort out my computer problems and I was up and running again.
I’d gone into the day thinking that a good outcome would be buying a new computer and parts to fix the old computer and that I may be able to recoup some costs by fixing the old computer. When I logged into my computer for the first time after fixing it today I let out a sigh of relief. I’d got my computer working and all that it had cost me was a couple of hours of my time.
One of the lessons I’ve learned in life is that even when things have got hard they always get better. I’m grateful for this and it’s good knowing that everything eventually comes right.
