The internet is an amazing place full of free information on so many different topics. I use it multiple times a day in my work and home life.
Life doesn’t suck…
because the internet has so much free information
We used to rely on books for information. Now if I need to know how to do something I’ll either look it up on Google or YouTube. If I need to find out something about my dog, I google it. Need to know how to use something on the TV? Google or YouTube will be able to tell you how to do it.
In my work I use Google multiple times an hour to find information about how to do things. I often have five to ten Chrome tabs open with different pieces of information relating to what I’m doing. Most times if you have a question about something someone has already had that question answered, or written a blog about it.
When I’m going to buy something I almost never buy without searching for reviews on Google or YouTube. I can quickly and easily find out what the best option is for what I want to buy and what people’s past experiences are with them. I can also find out where to get the product for the best possible price. Once I’ve found the best price I can also find reviews of the store selling the product so I can see if it’s worth buying it from them.
It’s a great time to be alive with so much free information being created and shared. I’m really grateful for all this information and the easy access I have to it.
