I generally get along well with people. I love a good yarn. Having a chat with someone and finding out about them. Building rapport with people makes me feel good.
Life doesn’t suck…
because I get along well with people
This afternoon we went to Waipu so my fianceĆ© could do a job. I went as driver and baggage handler. I ended up spending the whole job talking to the client’s father. We talked about my business, his business, his job and his family.
We spent a good hour just chatting about general life. It was a great chat and we got on really well. I really enjoy being able to strike up a conversation with people and get on well with them. I spend a good amount of time talking to people in my job.
Helping people find solutions that suit their needs gives me a lot of enjoyment. Being able to talk to people and understand these needs means I can help clients get their best option.
Having done a couple of communications courses I feel like I’m quite a good communicator. It’s always good when you do a course and the course content covers things you know you already do. It validates things you already know and makes you feel good about what you are doing.
I like that I get along well with people and that I can talk to them easily. I don’t find everyone super easy to talk to, but really enjoy when I can make a good connection with someone and have an intelligent conversation with them. If I could just talk to people for a job I’d probably do it.
I’m grateful that I get along well with people and that I communicate well. I feel that these are good qualities to have.
